How often should this filter be replaced for residential use to supply water for 1 ice maker without a water dispenser?
The HF25-S cartridge in the ICE125-S water filtration system is suggested to be replaced every 6 months; however, the maximum life of the cartridge is 1 year, which would be closer to the capacity that a residence would be using. After a year, once the water has passed through the inside of the cartridge, the cartridge will be expired, so we don't recommend going beyond a year. The manufacturer also suggests that the cartridge be replaced before the one-year mark if a noticeable reduction in flow rate occurs.

Was easy to install. Instructions are clear. It seems to work well. Would order it again. Arrived promptly. Only issue is shipping charges. Box was three times the size needed to hold the filter.
