How do I refill the pepper mill?

To add more peppercorns to the Chef Specialties 01850, unscrew the silver shaker top and lift off the acrylic salt cube. Both should remove easily. If the acrylic salt cube does not lift off easily that means salt made its way into the center hole when it was filled and the salt is causing friction between the aluminum shaft and acrylic cube. If this happens, usually using a little more muscle will remove it. If not, as a last resort, run warm water into the hole to dissolve the salt and it will then remove easily. This product is not water friendly, it's critical to thoroughly dry all parts and pieces before re-filling and re-assembling.
