Is this unit plug and play? What style plug does it have, what type of outlet does it require?
These units are shipped without a cord and plug and are designed to be hard wired. Installation requires 4" clearance around the entire unit and should be made by a licensed electrician.

What exactly does this mean? "Standard automatic humidity Eliminates manual fill water pan"? Does this require a water hook-up, if not where is the moisture coming from?
The standard automatic humidity feature eliminates the need for a manual-fill water pan by dispensing moisture automatically. It does require a 1/8" FPT water line to be supplied.
