I notice these are single speed motors, but can they be wired on a dimmer-style switch to control speed? I also notice the label on them indicates "outdoor use." Does this imply NOT installing them on the interior side of a window?
Because of the intended application of the Berner SHD07-2060A and its single speed motors, we would advise against connecting the air curtain to a dimmer-style switch. The Berner SHD07-2060A is designed to control flying insects within food service establishments. Reducing the motors' speed would render the machine ineffective. This curtain is rated for indoor and outdoor use.
