Does this filter reduce/eliminate sulfur?

The 3M Aqua-Pure AP917HD-S filter has proved very effective in the 6 years I have used it, clearing up calcium deposits in my potable water supply and keeping my water heater clean, with the added effect of much better water taste. Also I have not had to replace the toilet fill valve which had been getting clogged to an unusable state about every 2 years. It should be replaced yearly as it also removes chlorine and bacterial build-up could occur in the unit.
