this coffee maker is programmable
The Hamilton Beach HDC500DS is not programmable, however, it does have the "pause and service" function. When set, the unit will power off after 30 minutes. Many of the "pour-over" brewers lack programming functions since they are intended for continuous use for serving. For programmable units that are commercial grade, we often see people inquire about the pod-style brewers, such as the Grindmaster RC400 Automatic Single-Serve K-Cup Coffee Brewer.
