Hershey's Baking Chocolate & Dessert Ingredients

Hershey's Chocolate Company began in 1894 in Pennsylvania, when Milton S. Hershey started with baking chocolate, cocoa powder, and chocolate coatings. The milk chocolate bar followed in 1900, and kitchens still reach for the same cocoa and chips by name. At GoFoodservice, we offer Hershey's foodservice baking chips, cocoa, dessert syrups, and chocolate pretzel snacks in bulk bags, boxes, jugs, and cases.

• Baking chips in semi-sweet, dark chocolate, mini, and white creme for cookies, muffins, brownies, and mix-ins
• Natural unsweetened and Dutch process cocoa for cakes, frostings, sauces, and hot chocolate
• Chocolate dessert syrups including Special Dark syrup for sundaes, shakes, and plated desserts
• Chocolate fudge and dessert toppings for ice cream shops, bakeries, and concession dessert stations
• Chocolate dipped pretzel snacks for grab-and-go, concessions, and sweet-and-salty trays
• Bulk bags, boxes, and jugs sized for bakery production and ice cream topping stations

Baking chips and cocoa belong on the same bake list. Semi-sweet and mini chips go into cookies and muffins. Dark chips and Dutch cocoa cover brownies and chocolate cake. White creme chips are a white chip, not white chocolate. Chocolate syrups and fudge finish sundaes and shakes without a scratch sauce.

Hershey's is the baking-chocolate name most guests already know, which is why it shows up on dessert menus and ice cream boards. The mix on this page is the foodservice baking and topping line: chips, cocoa, syrups, and pretzel snacks, not the candy-bar aisle.

Shop our selection of Hershey's baking chips, cocoa, and dessert syrups at GoFoodservice and keep the dessert station on bulk chips, cocoa, and syrup instead of grocery bags.
