Since 1971, people have enjoyed coming to Pierce's Pitt for delicious, hickory-smoked, Tennessee-style Bar-B-Que made with "Doc" Pierce's Original Bar-B-Que Sauce. It all started when Julius C. (Doc) Pierce set out from Flat Creek, Tennessee for Virginia with his family and their prized bar-b-que sauce recipe. Once there, he settled in Williamsburg and opened Pierce's Pitt. The rest, as they say, is history.

Law is a Southerner from North Carolina, with a Dominican mother, who inspired his love of cooking and was a practitioner of a hybrid of Southern and Dominican food. Staying true to his roots, Law had a 10-foot-long, 10-foot-high walk-in smokehouse custom-built for Bourbon & Bones—a throwback to the South. Smoking his own meat is something to be reckoned with, everything gets used in Law’s process; the end pieces of the brisket are chopped and added to the baked beans and the collard greens. Bourbon & Bones meat is locally sourced, naturally raised and hormone, anti-biotic and steroid free. Law is far more than just another dude doing barbecue.

Good Stuff Good Times, LLC was established in 2007 by Jim & Wendy Smith and Nick & Nicki Gohlmann. It was always a dream of theirs to take their recipes on the road traveling in and around the beautiful State of West Virginia. Now they've done it and you can find them at many different events and festivals! Also in August of 2011 they opened a stationary location in Institute, WV across from WVSU. Their restaurant carries the name "Ridgeview BBQ" and there you will find many of the BBQ items we serve on the road.
